Global Express Ship was founded in Newark, New Jersey, by a small team of freight forwarders who were tired of watching good shipments get lost in bad handoffs. The company opened with a single lane connecting the U.S. East Coast to Western Europe — booked by phone, tracked on paper, and delivered on a handshake.
That handshake is still how we operate, even now that the network spans oceans, airways, rail corridors and highways across five continents. We've scaled the technology. We haven't scaled down the accountability.
